The old sr102 was ok for essentials, the er115 for superfast and the sr203 for the above mentioned

I have received a sky broadband hub that wasn't required because I already have one. Any particular reason why that would be? Should I change it or would the old one still continue to work?

I received SR203 but I'm not sure what that means or how is it different from my old router. It certainly looks a bit different

Thanks for the response. But I am rather surprised because I have made no changes to the package. Only downgraded my tv package 2 days ago

So whatever reason they sent it out thats the one i'd use 👍

May be worth checking your bill, though: typically that model Hub is despatched when Broadband Boost is added to the subscription, with a corresponding increase in monthly payment. Also note that Hubs are loaned items these days and you shouldn't dispose of the one not in use: Sky will be requesting its return.
