I and others would prefer if the response was made public. Clearly a lot of people are experiencing this issue as seen by the vast amount of separate threads, yet no public response from Sky.

I am facing this issue, holding the power button down for 15 seconds each time I want to access YouTube is not worthwhile, which, with a child, is quite often.

Secondly, we were informed that this would be without adverts, yet each streaming app is riddled with adverts - that wasn't mentioned anywhere that I have seen. Will ITV Hub have adverts that can be skipped? I'd be better off with Sky Q again as I could fast forward through them, ITV just insists watching more adverts - you have to watch them in their entirety!

Update - spoken to @Ateam and after a few checks with our Tier 2 team, we have found this Youtube error to be a known issue which is already under investigation and should be resolved in a software update soon.

@Oistupid with regards to the skipping ad's, this feature is only for Sky On demand programmes and films, It's not for live TV nor other channels content.

Sky don't publish release dates as these will invariably slip from time to time. There is an update due to be released, you'll need to be patient I'm afraid.

I understand the point you make @Lisa-P1987 however the apps like itv hub and all4 have the ability of fast forwarding ads, so to some extent is ad skipping.

Hi guys just spoke to sky about YouTube not loading and having to unplug the sky glass tv and plug it back in to get it to load update out next week for glass and they have on the information to the tech team to look into it, also told that if you don't want to return sky q equipment you can pay a non return fee and keep it

I have my q box connected to the glass tv so can watch all the free channels on the glass tv
