Have the same problems with BBC content and others.

It could be created automatically by whatever channel you have tuned into and what was on at the time?

Yes i did and still nothing as it said the program wasn't in my playlist however it was there and couldn't remove it

I have lots of programs I have zero interest in, in my playlist that I did not add, don't won't and can't get rid off . Sky glass get 1 out of ten from me. I'm telling everyone not to get it. Feel like I've been conned 😡

Hi, following on from this post, I rang the Sky support today and I clearly know more about this than they do and they claimed that no-one else thinks this is a problem.

Only a complete idiot would think that if I started watching a program, didn't like it so stopped watching it and it would automatically appear on my playlist - actually I want the complete opposite, not sure what they don't understand.

I did not add it to my playlist and I cannot delete it. So my playlist contains more programs that I DON'T want to watch than those that I do want to watch.

Why can't I delete them, no good just saying that's the way it works and they will drop off your playlist sometime in the future (10 years time????).

SKY - what is the point of a playlist. Answer - a list of things I want to watch, not things I don't want to watch. What don't you get?

Please get this sorted. I cannot recommend Glass to anyone the way it is at the moment. I wish I had stayed with Virgin, at least I could delete old programs I did not want to watch any more.

This is a very well reported issue on this forum, but sadly at the moment there is no fix.

Workaround - Locate the last episode of the series and fast forward to end, go to home and the item should no longer show in the play now rail.

n.b. This workaround will not work for programmes that still have episodes to air, as they will still populate once available.

In this instance it is a case of playing the item and fast forwarding until it drops off play now, must be done each time the next episode appears.

Causes for this happening is when playing something then losing interest, playing an item using 'watch from start' adds them to play now but not the actual playlist.

It hasn't been confirmed that sky are working on a fix for this, but I think it's fair to say they should be as it's a well documented isssue as mentioned above.

hope this helps for now until a true fix is actioned by sky!

EDIT - This is not a sky endorsed response/workaround. This is based on my investigation and troubleshooting.

Thanks for the update and have tried some of those workarounds without success. Even tried adding a series link to a part watched program to see if I could then delete the series (no).

The text on the playlist screen says "all the things you've added" - no I did not add these programs!!

Not sure why Sky support did not know about this when I rang today and said. We are looking at this and will fix in the next release if possible, or someone is looking at this. It was more a case of "that is how it works, what is your problem".

A quick and easy solution that would fix this is to just show the 'TV Shows' that are on the next page as the top level display as that only contains the shows I have added to my playlist.

Take someone a day to change that.

@Chris+All Sometimes customer care just don't get it right, and are pretty useless with the more seemingly complex situations that the switch off and on line won't work on. 😂

Im pretty sure sky are working away on getting it sorted, but it seems that playlist is something that is rather complex and could be broken easily!

I expect new year will see a fix!
