You have a playlist similar to your planner but Sky Glass has no local storage, everything is cloud based, we don't know what remote access there is, if any

From my understanding the recording function on Sky Glass is now called Playlist with recordings now stored on the Cloud rather than a local hard drive. You can use this to create a playlist of future programs you want to catch up on at a later date.

How much cloud storage is actually available before you have to purchase more,from what I understand the 1,000hrs cloud storage is subscription based. So far nobody on Sky haven't answered my question. How much do you have to pay to get that extra storage.

This is something unless I have misread it would prevent me getting glass.

Remote record

So you don't miss out on your favourite shows, make sure you add them to your Playlist before you leave home, as remote record isn't available on Sky Go with Sky Glass.

From what I've read the amount of storage available on the actual Sky glass tv is specifically for software updates. The 1,000 hrs cloud storage is I believe subscription based. The maximum storage size of the Cloud per customer is 1000 hours. Sky appear to be tight lipped on this issue.

Confirmed that there is no recording away from the home, you have to add things to your playlist whilst you're at home

Sky Glass is not designed to back-up lots of episodes of your faviourite shows, there isn't even a record button on the remote. Instead Sky Glass has a playlist - a place where users will add everything they want to watch in one place.

There's no local recording: all content is streamed from either a channel catch-up service or (sometimes) cloud storage. Multiroom/Multiscreen boxes are replaced with Glass 'pucks'.

Yes: note that each additional puck requires at least another 10Mbs internet bandwidth arriving at the address. For UHD in several rooms simultaneously you'd want a good broadband connection and WiFi coverage.

Hi how much broadband speed will I need? Mine runs at about 66mbps I think. Also I have heard that streaming terrestrial tv is poor is that correct? Or do I plug a tv Ariel in and watch the bbc via that? I'm sitting on the fence on this one.

It seems I cannot watch a program straight after it has finished like I used to be able to. There is no record facility, the + 1 channels aren't available and when I try to watch it it says it is not available until 10:30am tomorrow.

Is this correct or am I missing something. The program was I'm a celebrity.
