Hi, so I am Sky VIP customer and have very old router which needs replacement as my iPhone does not connect to it although works perfectly with all other wifi networks, even my neighbours TalkTalk and WiFi signal is only 2.4Ghz and does not work in all rooms but when called Sky helpline I was advised that the only option to replace this old router is to get upgrade on contract and pay more. I said no so was advised to get a deal, call back within cooling period to say I am not happy and that will get me a router within old price. In summary I was advised to call back within cooling period to lie about quality of new router which I really hope will be fantastic just to keep it within old price. How does it work? I am an honest person and will not follow Sky doggy deals to get a replacement after for old router after being a customer for over 5 years. Any other solutions guys plesse let me know, I am considering change of provided but Sky made me VIP customer last year so will have cancellation fee which I am keen to pay if resolve doggy deal problem. Thank your help. AGIE

If are on sky essentials then sr102 is fine. If you've upgraded to superfast and still have the sr102 then contact sky on 150 from your landline and ask for the dual band er115 . Also would be handy to view router as they may up show any issues

https://community.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/m-p/2855717#M1014...

Oh, forgot to say that I should not mention this doggy deal proposed by the cancellation team. I will sort it out Monday and get a new deal for other providers, thanks for info.
