The Serpent - where are the episodes

I have just watched episode 1 of The Serpent - great programme - and wanted to watch episode 2 but it is nowhere to be found on Catch Up. Why?

They are all on the BBC iPlayer app.

Not everything on BBC appears in the Sky catchup tab

Thank you., BUT I do not have iplayer in my lounge, only in my kitchen on a new tv, so the Sky catch up facility is a total waste of time. What am I paying for? Sky should either make all episodes available or none. Who wants to just watch one episode in a series?

I assumed you have Sky Q in your lounge ?

If you do - bbciplayer is there in your apps section

EDIT : hi again - I've just done a search for the Serpent rather than look in catchup - they are all there 🙂

Have you tried searching for them as they should appear, if not in the BBC iplayer app > all.

As @caesarome says - they do appear on both a voice search and a manual search on Sky Q

It's just the main catchup screen where only episode 1 appears

i am obviously nto doing this right. I have only ever gone to catch up and then searched - usually with very mixed and hit and miss results.

i go the bbc in the left column and go down to the bottom option - all i think - then the search button comes up and i put in thename of the series, but still only see episode 1. i had the same with peaky blinder - all there apart from series 1

what should i do?

yes sky q is in the lounge and kitchen

how do i find the bbc i player app?

i go to catch up then there is a list of channels in the left column

i go to bbc and click on it

then another list comes up - featured, most popular, and at the bottom is ALL

i click on that and that is the only way a search button comes up. i can put THE in in capitals only, as no other option, but i can't put a space in to type anything else. the search option disappears very quickly.

why don't sky make it easy and have a big easy touse search button?

i have no idea where any apps are. there are no apps i can see.

If you look at your main Sky Q menu - you have

TV GUIDE

RECORDINGS

CATCHUP. etc

keep going down that list and near the bottom you will see APPS

(between MUSIC and SETTINGS)

look for bbciplayer in there

With regard to finding it in the regular Sky section - do you have BOX SETS as part of your subscription? It could be that The Serpent series has moved out of the regular catchup section and needs a box set subscription

Certainly if I voice search The Serpent - they are all there.

On a Sky+ box go to Catchup TV > BBC (Press SELECT) > All (Press right button on remote) type in SE and scroll down the results until you see The Seperant tile, highlight it and press SELECT and you will see all the episodes.

in your post at 2.12 you said Sky Q so I went down the Sky Q route

@Polly+Parrot The instructions from @caesarome should get you there, but, honestly, it's a lot easier to Search from the Home Page. So instead of going into the Catch Up Tile, just start typing the letters required and you will see the letters appearing in the Search Box at the top of the screen. @

Well. This is embarassing. I found the 'search' button at the top of the catch screen that I swear has never ever been there before,(!) and searched for 'serpent' and found all episodes. This was after google searching for ages 'how to search for a specific programme on sky hd+'.

I have not seen the post you referred to but will try now. I know I am obviously thick, but I do think sky shuld do an idiot's guide for these things. I still can't do the space but will look for the missing post.

@Polly+Parrot It's 6 posts above this one and explains how to search within Catch Up, but I think you're better off with the Search you've now discovered on the Home Page which searches everything from one place.

I'm not sure what device you are using to post, but if you are logged in to your Sky forum account you should be able to scroll upwards and see all the previous posts. I've posted a screenshot here in case you have a problem seeing it - although it will take 30 minutes or so to appear
