Not receiving calls

Hi,

I recently had to add a new phone to my contract as the previous one was damaged.

I was advised to put my old sim in the new phone but the phone would not connect to the Sky network. I was sent a replacement sim which worked fine.

However, calls from anyone not in my contacts are not showing on my phone at all and, at their end, they simple get a 'line is busy' message.

I missed an important call from a doctor because of this and need it sorted!

Is your phone itself showing the correct number since you have activated and started to use this replacement sim:

Hi @caesarome , thanks for the reply.

Had a look and, no, my number is showing as 'unknown.

Any advice on how to sort this myself would be greatly appreciated.

If your phone is an iphone then the link I posted above should show you how to edit the number.

Thanks for the link but, unfortunately, I have an Android phone.

I just checked in 'About phone's in settings and my number is showing as 'unknown.
