Data not working on Motorola g8 power?

Hi all, I got a new phone (Motorola g8 power) a few weeks ago and transferred my sky SIM but data isn't working and network is rubbish on wifi... I am frontline staff and need my data for client calls and have been trying to ring sky but no answer 😞

I tried everything they said to do online to request a new VPN number (whatever that is?) Which I did but wasn't sent... Then when I tried to reset manually by going into display settings ( as suggested) but the Motorola g8 power isn't even there to choose from?

Any help with this would be wonderful 🙏

Hi @Crystaltips74 try these settings

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Connections.
3. Tap Mobile networks.
4. Tap Access Point Names.
5. Tap the access point you'd like to check.
Note: The input fields may allow you to enter more characters than listed in the configuration details, ensure no additional characters or spaces have been added.

Configuration details

Internet APN Settings:

Name: Sky Mobile Internet
APN: mobile.sky
Username: None
Password: None
MCC: 234
MNC: 57
APN Type: Default

MMS APN Settings:

Name: Sky Mobile MMS
APN: mms.mobile.sky
Username: None
Password: None
Proxy/MMS Proxy: 185.110.178.97
MMSC/MMSC URL: http://185.110.178.96:38090/was
Port/MMS Port: 9028
MCC: 234
MNC: 57
Authentication: None
MMS APN Type: mms
APN Protocol: IPv4

Yes, when I selected access point names it is blank

If it's blank you need to create new APN using the information above @Chris+Darcy

Which part do I use to fill? The one that says internet or the mobile one?

I cannot get my moibile data to work on this phone. I've tried adding details to the APN with the info suggested on here but no avail. I have contacted SKY and Motorola with no success, The App Data Usage section is greyed out. Any suggestions? Thank you,

I followed the APN add in information and it seems im able to use my data now...yet my apps aren't loading there just timing out....? I have lots of data left.

Further to my above comment ...unsure if this is the problem but top triangle which I think is signal now has a x in it??
