My ipad pro is not reading sim card

Hello, I've recently received my new iPad pro-2020 about 3 days ago and I have activated my sim but when I put the sim in my iPad is not working even it doesn't show up anything it's like I didn't put anything. I have tried another sim card as well but still is not working.

I think the sim card tray is not working.

Hi @Kiandkh

Please could you follow this troubleshooting guide to see if you can resolve it.

You'll notice a number beginning 55- n the troubleshooting, once your troubleshooting comes to an end if it advises to call through to Sky you can quote this ref number and we can see all the steps you have taken so we don't replicate them.

Our tech teams are taking calls just prioritising vulnerable and key worker so you CAN call but will be expecting long queue times.

No I still have this problem and I couldn't do anything about it.

I've just had this same issue.

i have however resolved this issue now by turning the iPad off removing the SIM card switching the iPad back on going to Mobil data in settings then inserting the sim card which then triggered the iPad to set the network automatically.

Tried looking at the Guide but there isn't one for the Ipad 4 Pro 2020 ? I cannot make this work, as I believe the Ipad doesn't see it because without the number automatically showing up it isn't even looking. Currently only my email is set for communications? I may have to return if the Sky sim and Ipad are incompatable?
