Mobile returned but not received

I returned my iPhone XR on 20/05 as I upgraded to the iPhone 12. I returned the phone using the prepaid returns package that I received alongside my new phone but it hasn't been received by Sky yet. I no longer have my tracking number so can't use this to trace it. I assumed the phone had been received as I received an email the week before asking me to send it back by a certain deadline and then nothing further. Do sky not keep records of the tracking numbers issued as part of their swap? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

It might be that Sky does have it but the system hasn't been updated to show this so you will need to call them about it.

I called them and they said they hadn't received it and without my tracking number they couldn't do anything to help

In that case you will just have to keep checking your account for updates over the next week or so.
