Do sky sell any phones directly?

Hi, Do sky sell any phones directly? I want to buy one of my kids a new phone for their sky SIM. I don't want to pay monthly, I want to buy outright, ideally cashing in some of my data. I cannot find anything on their site. Can anyone confirm or advise?

You can't buy a phone outright by using the data to pay it off so the only way would be to take out a monthly contract if you pass the credit checks and then pay this agreement off in full.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I know you cannot buy the phone outright with data, (albeit I wish I knew this some time ago as sky used misleading text suggesting the more you save the greater the discount!) but I just want to buy a phone outright, which should be cheaper. A credit agreement is naturally more expensive overall. Other providers do sell off phones, I just want to know if sky do this, and how to access this😀. Cheers.

Sky will buy the old Sky phone and credit your account with proceeds. Loan (if taken) must be paid in full to Swap. Phone condition criteria and market value adjustment may apply. Terms apply.

Sky Mobile is an MVNO which uses O2's infrastructure. That means wherever O2 has signal Sky Mobile does too, which currently means 4G coverage for around 99% of the UK population indoors.
