Sky q remote broke

Does anybody know if the remotes are covered if they just stop working and how can i get a replacement control free

Contact Sky, they usually send a replacement, I assume you have checked the batteries.

Welcome to Q forum.

Normally if the remote is faulty it will be replaced free of charge.

@Nadia+mahmood sorry im still trying to get a remote i hav resorted to casting from my mobile to the television, if you find how to get a replacement free of charge could you let me know please?

I've been on Sky for a week and the remote has stopped working. I've replaced the batteries but still no joy. I've phoned various'help lines' which are no help at all, just send me on a merry-go-round of irrelevant and unhelpful options. I just need my remote to work! Or be replaced.

If nothing helps. all you can do is to phone them.

Sky are taking calls but try to discourage people from phoning so ignore all the warnings. If you have to say anything say "technical" that usually works.

I've said 'technical' many times but either the automated recipient doesn't hear it and asks me again or she texts me a link to Sky.com - which I've tried countless times. The problem, I'm pretty sure, is that the remote doesn't work. But that's never an option on their help lines.
