Blackscreen

My sky worked fine this morning, switched to hdmi 2 so my son could go on the xbox, switched back to hmdi 1 for Sky Q. Tv says skys Q it recognised Sky is connected but displaying a black screen. I have checked all connections, unplugged and plugged and currently trying software update... help please

With the Q box on with green led try pressing

Home 1 0 8 0 Home

on the Q remote control.

This will set the box to standard resolution

Turn the Q box off. Try turning the TV off, then unplugging the HDMI cable at both ends, then reconnect them. Then turn the TV back on, then turn the Q box on. See if that works.

If not, type Home 1 0 8 0 Home to set the resolution to 1080i. See if it helps.

I have tried good and it didn't work, will try yet other option too

This didn't work either I cannot see what I'm typing on screen which doesn't help
