    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when i turn my sky q box on from standby some times the screen goes black and all the menus work fine. ive tried other channels and they are all black too. if i turn it off from the switch for 10 seconds and then back on the box comes back on as normal but this problem is happening more often now. please could you help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;andrew&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My sky was working this morning and now if I press home, it pulls everything up and the tv guide but if I select on something my tv screen is just black.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried resetting my box twice, and going onto my settings to status and reactivating on the watch via sky go but nothing is happening.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It wont even let me play anything on my recordings.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

No luck? Select No, try another until you find the right setting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Still not working? Hold down 7 and 9 until the remote's light flashes 4 times to factory reset your remote and try the steps again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once you can change the volume using your Sky Q remote, finish the pairing process&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope this helps! &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've had same problem. Spoke with engineer and turns out it was a faulty HDMI cable despite it showing a picture, it wasnt showing recordings or live tv. Swapped the HDMI cable as suggested and Hey presto! Thanks sky.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have exact same problem as orignal poster&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;New SkyQ 1tb was installed yesterday. All was OK until 15 mins ago, and now I get the same black screen. The menus and banners all appear OK, but no TVs shows ..recordings and live TV are all black screen, and no sound.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Furthermore, Netflix is showing a menu, but if you try to select anything, the App closes.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm loathe to reset everything having spent ages yesterday getting all the settings the way I want. Fortunately my multiroom box is working so I'll hit the other room and phone Sky tomorrow if it's still not working on the main box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
