SkyQ and iPad why can’t I watch my recording from box on iPad Pro

I got sky go on iPad Pro but it won't let me watch any recordings that I have does it not do this or is the something else that I have to do to connect

You need to have a multiscreen subscription to view recordings from your Q box.

I am the same. I have been onto Sky several times and nearly a week later it's still not fixed. It keeps intermittently coming back on then going off a few hours later. This is so frustrating as I watch my recordings regularly on my IPAD. I don't seem to be getting anywhere, just get told escalating to sky app team. But the problem continues.......

I have more or less a full package with sky and have been using my IPad to watch recordings for a number of years. Now for whatever reason it's not working!!!

The problem with iPads and iPhones is that their default connection is to 5Ghz Wi-fi. If your Sky Q box connects to the 2.4Ghz Wi-fi (which it does for all non Sky broadband routers) then your iPad/iPhone won't connect to your Sky Q box.

I got my iPad working correctly by splitting my BT Home Hub into separate SSIDs for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

Or they connect to cellular data rather than local WiFi without the user realising, which causes the same problem with accessing recordings.

Ok I switched everything off then turned each thing back on and it came on I have always had full package but just had trouble connecting with iPad

I managed to recover option to view recordings by re-connecting IPhone and an IPad to SKY Go

by.... turning off ( in settings ) connect to SKQ Box.
then flicked off the SKY Go App and then restarted the App.
then back to settings and switching on 'connect to SKY Q box.

This worked for both IPhone and IPad that 'couldn't find SKY box.

However another IPhone from which I had removed the SKY Go App and re-installed the App was no longer showing the 'recordings' option and having tried the above 'fix' found it still didn't show recordings 😞
