Not able to access later episodes on catch up TV without watching episode 1.

Apologies if there is an obvious answer to this but when I go to Catch up TV and look at the box sets available, I am only able to see Episode 1. If I want to see later episodes, do I really have to watch or download episode 1 first...? Appreciate any advice....

I wanted to se the final of Viewpoint....but discovered that for all the programmes offered on Catch Up, only Episode 1 is visible. Strangely if I download and fast forward all of Episode 1, then the other episodes in the series become visible. (This is the case for all the series that are shown, not just Viewpoint...). Thanks for your help..

Hi @Don22

When you select content normally the first episode is shown.

You need to scroll down to Watch now to see all episodes

The final episode of Viewpoint is only available until midnight tonight, for obvious reasons...

Thanks.. When I go to Watch Now, all that happens is that it proceeds to download Episode 1. None of the later episodes become visible....... Not sure if there is something in settings that I have not put right, but having looked at all the options, there is no obvious reason why the later episodes are not visible....

Sounds like you are selecting the Episode to watch now.

Instead you need to to look lower down for the Watch now tab.

Thanks. There are two buttons available; the top one is Watch Ep1 S1 and the lower is indeed Watch Now. But beneath the lower Watch Now button there is only displayed the first episode....not the entire series which I would expect to see.... Interesting when I go to Sky Box Sets (as opposed to the other catch up offerings) the various episodes are indeed set out underneath the Watch Now button....

Doesn't seem to matter here whether I go to Catch up or BoxSets

Scrolling down to Watch now and scrolling further lists all. Available episodes.

Thanks, I will look again at the setting options and see if there is something I am missing. What baffles me is when we download Ep1, we can fast forward through it and then the other Episodes are available...Thanks for your help...

Hi @Don22 if you go to catch up TV then scroll to the ITV Hub tab then scroll to drama and then find Viewpoint you will see all the available episodes for the series in here.

Hi and thanks. When I go to ITV Hub and Drama and scroll carefully the offerings, sadly Viewpoint does not appear. When I go to STV and Featured, then Viewpoint appears, but with the problem discribed above that only Episode 1 features. (When I look at the other offerings on ITV Hub and Drama, there is no problem in seeing all the available episodes...)

Okay.. you could try going into TV guide then catch up and select each day and selecting ITV hub and try playing Viewpoint that way. So from Monday to Friday is it? Was it shown?

Going to Catch Up via TV Guide..........Viewpoint does not appear in ITV Hub Section, but does appear in the STV section, but with the same problem of only Ep 1 visible.......... I also rebooted everything and the results are the same so still scratching head....

SUCCESS....!! Not using the voice control, but using the magnifying glass search facility on remote. Search for V, Viewpoint appears.......and all episodes listed......RESULT. Still mystified by the behaviour of the system going through the "normal" process though. Thanks to everyone for advice.....!

@Don22 @Rhonny suggestion is probably the best works perfectly here.

If you dont have a voice remote then using a non voice remote press the spy glass then by only entering the V it brings up viewpoint with all episodes available until 11.59 tonight
