Hi i have created an additional sky id for my son so he has his own sky email but i want him to also be able to access my sky account (he handles the billing) however i am unable to verify his sky id. It asks for the last 6 digits of the credit card or bank account used to make payments, but after entering it says cannot identify details. Can anyone advise please?

Hi Faz123, are you entering details for the same payment method we use to take payment for your Sky bills?

yes i am, the only difference is i have used my sons details for this additional user (DOB, name) would that have an effect?

Hi Faz123,

That would have an effect, as all the details would need to match up to the Sky Account details we have on our systems. In order for your son to access your billing he would have to be the primary user on MySky and have your details on his Sky iD.

Hi Faz123,

I have just been informed by one of my colleagues that you are no longer able to change the primary user of the account. However your son's details will still need to match up with yours.

Ok i have just had a bit of a read about this issue and surely that cant be right? The whole point of additional users is that your family can register for their own personal sky id? If that is the case they would use their own details. Skys website says that additinal users can view bills etc after verifying sky id. Can you please assist me?

Is your Sky iD already set up as the primary iD?  Have you managed to create an additional account for your son but struggling to allow his to view bills?

Hi sorry about the late reply, that is exactly the problem. I have managed to make his account and he can use email but he cant view bills etc.

Hi Faz123

Great to see that you have set up the additional account. 

Only the Sky Primary account ID will have access to the billing, If you have set up your son as a secondary user he will not get access to the billing.

Hi Faz123, 

Sorry for the late reply, there isn't anyway to change an ID to the primary, however you can verify a secondary ID to allow you access to view your My Sky information.

i am the main account holder but i keep being told im signing in with a guest account and i am not allowed to make any changes, what do i do? and how do i get my details i have trying for days and have spent nearly an hour on the phone, i was given some details during the call but they say that the details i was given do not exist
