Vip

Hi   we have Sky VIP.

But what is the point if my phone is not now supported.

Samsung Note 2

I will not change my phone just so i can use this app.

Am I wasting my time?

Re: Vip

Hi @nemis

You phone needs to be running Andriod 5.0 or above now, if it isn't and you have a PC you could install the Bluestacks 3 program as this will allow you to install the MySky app.

Re: Vip

It is up to you to decide if you are wasting your time with this but if your phone doesnt support the app anymore all you can do is speak to Sky as they can claim most rewards for you if you want.

Re: Vip

Thanks again for the reply.

So I guess Sky has ripped me off again with telephone personnel who do not tell you the whole story.

It is not that SKY does not support your phone, it is your phone that does not support  the new android update.

Or if it does then you need to update your phone software.

AS VIP is a free app you are not paying anything, so not wasting money!

Re: Vip

Ok Thanks

But No Sky used the "VIP" as an incentive to say with them after TRYING to cancel subscription.

So yes I'm paying for listening to rubbish put out by sales team AGAIN.

Re: Vip

You’re not paying for VIP as you have been told it;s FREE, companies cannot support all versions of an operating system they have to have a cut off somewhere and yes it is a pain for the customer but that’s life, you have to live with it

Re: Vip

Hi @nemis

If you don’t have a compatible smartphone or iPad you will be able to join Sky VIP over the phone and the Sky advisors will redeem most of the rewards on your behalf.
