fault with phone line

Tried bypassing straight into main box no dIl tone tried 2 phones i didnt pay so i got cut off ive now payed my bill sky tv working but talk broad not can u please help my girl isHEL getting laptop no good if she cqnt goP

Can you tell me if you have a dial tone at all? If so what happens when you dial 150?

Hi

I have had exactly the same problem, before christmas my tv, broadband and talk were all restricted becuase I was late making my payment. Paid the bill and the tv and broadband came on instantly, however I have not been able to make outgoing calls. I have a dial tone and it goes straight to an engaged tone saying 'to use ringback' also when I dial 150 it says 'welcome to BT' when I thought I would be directed to sky?

I have been emaiing the sky helpline as online chat never seems to be available. I am getting lots of apologies from sky via email and al always being referred to BT (my line rental). I have had BT look at the line four times, engineer has changed the box inside the house and tested my equipment including phone - and all they can say is there is a restriction on the line (could this still be the restriction Sky put on my account despite it all saying 'active' at sky's end?).

As there is no fault on the line BT have said they would charge £129 if I called them out again, never had a problem with the line since moving to the house 16 years ago until this restriction was paced on my account.

Can anyone help me?

We need to check to see if there are any restrictions on your Sky Talk services, in order for us to do this I need you to check your package on MySky. You can do this by clicking here. When you have checked this I need you to confirm whether it shows a green tick beside your Sky talk package or not.
