Hi,
I was moving from Virgin to Sky and ordered sky on the 24/2, TV installed the 3/3 I was given a Sky Talk installation date of the 21/3, this has now been 'delayed' they do not have a new installation date infact it appears the order has not been sent from Sky to BT at all! They are talking about cancelling the order and re-sending it, from reading on forums that can lead to 3-4 week delay (cancel order can take a while to process and bt booking date)
I'm seriously thinking about cancelling the lot as I'm a new install and getting seriously fed up as they have also logged and sending a £25 M&S voucher rather than £50.
Has anybody else had any problems like this as I think the TV is miles better than others but I cannot afford to extend the Virgin cancellation date by a month and pay sky too.

Hi darrenja,
It sounds as if the order has been stuck on the systems and it is likely the original order would need to be removed by escalating the issue through to IT department. Once this is done we would then push another order through and this would then be submitted to BT Openreach, ready to progress with the installation. I'm sorry to hear about the issues that have occurred here.

I have had so many problems with Sky, got to wait 6 weeks for my broadband to come! 6 weeks! they garenteed me 4gb broadband and for 6 months i recived under 1gb, if i was you tell sky to get lost and stay to virgin broadband and sky tv.
They didnt even tell me that there was a problem with my phone line so broadband would be delayed and therefore didnt re-order my broadband. I had to call them and ask where is my broadband!
I think sky broadband is the worst broadband company out there!
