Sky Talk Ordering & Setup

Hi.I have Sky tv (multi-room) and Sky Broadband but my phone provider is Virgin Media via a cable line.

I want to switch to Sky Talk and Sky line rental,do I need to cancel Virgin Media first then order Sky Talk as I want to keep my existing phone number?I ask this because I've read conflicting advice on which to cancel or order first.

Also because of the Broadband the BT line is obviously already in use,does an engineer need to come out and make any changes to the set-up?The digital boxes are connected to the Virgin line also.Cheers.

Which line do you get your sky BB on? I think this question would be best speaking to someone from the sky talk  team.

BB is connected to the BT line.

my guess is just to ring sky and get them to transfer over to sky from your current provider
