Hi,
I'm currently staying with a family who have Sky. Attempting to watch Sky shows online, I pulled out their Sky card and used it to create an ID that I assumed would just allow me to watch shows online. I then got an email saying that I had upgraded to Sky ID so that I could manage all the bills online! Obviously not what I wanted considering that it's not my Sky to be meddling with! Despite the fact that I signed up with my name, Georgia, it sent me an email as the man I'm staying with.
Since this family have been paying their Sky bills by paper, I assume, I don't think they want to make a switch to internet services. Here's the email I got from you guys:
Good news! You've successfully upgraded your Sky ID to become the Primary user in your household.
In addition to accessing great services like Remote Record and Sky Player, you can now enjoy all the convenience of managing your account online.
We have notified the previous Primary user that they are now a Secondary user on your account. They'll still be able to use the same services you are eligible for, but they won't be able to access any of your Sky billing information."
I'd really like to reverse this change but can't see any way of going about it! I've looked for secondary users, to make the other user the primary one again, but apparently there aren't any. If possible I'd like to revert this whole business so they can go back to paying how they used to.
Sorry if I haven't explained anything, it's such an unforseen mess!

Welcome to the Forum and thank you for posting your query.
Don't worry this can be easily resolved however we cannot remove the ID you have set up.
What I would suggest is making a secondary user by following these steps under the account holders name and then make this there primary.

Hi,
So there's no way to completely remove paying bills etc online, and just revert back to the way it was? From this point on they have to monitor Sky online?

Your billing will continue to stay the same as it was before you set up the Sky ID, this allows you to view your billing online and make any changes to payment method, date or payment details.
