i am trying to set up to access my e-mail account on my kindle fire, it is asking for port numbers for outgoing and incoming i don't know what these are. Can yo help

I have recently changed to Sky Broadband and e mail and having difficulty adding the e mail to my Kindle fire HD.  I try to add new account but message states" unable to connect to server safely" can you help?

I am trying to set up my kindle fire to look at my e mails but sky is not one of the listed providers. I have read the answer to the previous questioner  but I am no further forward. Can someone please tell me in plain language, not computer speak, what to do and what to put in each required box on the kindle ?

Never mind all that . A very kind person on face book told me what to do.

Select WEB

delete the amazon web address and type sky.com and then you will get your usual screen.

It's a bit fiddly putting in your user name and password but it works brilliantly !
