Sky Broadband and Home Moves

[ Edited ]

Hi,

I need someone to help me, i've had conflicting information from a number of advisors at sky.

I have had sky tv/talk and broadband for over 12 months. I moved home about 7 months ago, my sky TV is no longer in contract but because my broadband is pretty horrendous with constant drop outs and slow speeds I am considering moving to plusnet or BT.

Now some advisors have said I can move whereas others cannot as they said I am still in contract for the broadband/talk. Can someone clarify the situation for me?

Thanks

Mike

Re: Sky Broadband and Home Moves

Hi mikeowen,

I can understand how frustrating it must be having to contact us and constantly get conflicting information.

If you are out with a 12 month contract and move all your services without any changes to another property your contract continues as normal, you are not entered back into a contract.

If you move and upgrade, such as going from Everyday Lite Broadband to Unlimited Broadband this would then re-enter you into a 12 month contract.

I hope this has helped and please let us know how you get on.
