Originally I was told it would take about 5 weeks to transfer everything to new house.
Tv worked straight away but phone took 3 weeks & then 2 more weeks for broadband, so 5 weeks was right.
It wasn't easy though, with problems of cancellations & MAC code being just 2 of them.
Once it was going, my broadband speed was at one point 38kb/s - yes dial-up speed!
Broadband is now great but I've just received my bank statement to find Sky bill was too much.
It turns out that I wasn't put back onto Talk Unlimited so I haven't been getting any free calls. Last month had £25 worth of calls that should be free.
I then checked what will be my next bill to find I will owe £95 of extra call charges (ALL of which should be FREE!)
I signed up to get Sky Talk Unlimited & was originally on it but after moving Sky didn't put me back on Sky Talk Unlimited so I have been getting charged for about 10 weeks for calls that should be free!
I mailed Sky & have now been put back on Talk Unlimited but next month & all previous months call charges remain.
It's not my fault that I was put on the wrong Talk package after moving so I shouldn't have to pay any charges that wouldn't be payable if Sky hadn't made such a basic error with my subscription.
I mailed them again before typing this so hopefully all will be ok very soon........................
If not then my bill due in a weeks time will be about £170.00 which I may not be able to cover!
