Hi,
I am about to finalise everything regarding a home move and have been reading through everyones discussions on Moving Home with Sky and am pretty concerned its all going to go wrong. I dont know my moving date yet but want to make sure I have everything in hand and ready.
At present I am a Sky TV client but at the same time as moving I want to add on the Sky Broadband and Talk services but am not sure wheter to move home and then upgrade or upgrade as part of the home move.
I want the cheapest and least stressful process but at the same time dont want to end up waiting ages for the new service. At the same time I have seen a large number of forum posts where people have ended up with issues when moving home.
Any advice from past experience would be great.
Thanks

People mainly have oribe with moving the BB and talk services since they have to be cancelled down at the old adress and set up at the new !
since you only currently have sky tv this will be grand for you!
in terms of tv as long as you have like a weeks ntoice when you know the dates your moving in call sky and they will arrange a free home move where they will ensure ot have an engineer there at a suitable date to check the current dish ( if there is one ) or to put up a new dish if there currently isnt one !
in terms of the BB and talk... the sonner you orer it the sooner it will be set uo so if you know the dates like say 2/3 weeks in advance then would be worthwhile ordering it then as if no active line in the adress they will need to do a new line provide which can take up to 14days followed by up to 14days to get both the bb and talk activated !
definitely best ot do it all at once or at least do it before you move into the new place just to sped up the process for yourself

Hi Tray1967
Apologies that you haven't been called back by as promised, when were you advised someone would call? You are probably aware that we have been updating our systems and this was due to complete Today.
This has now happened, however we are unable to access your account or request details on an open forum. I will send you a private message requesting more information.
Thanks

Hi,
We've moved in a new flat and we've just contracted Sky broadband a few hours ago. But we have written the address wrongly. How could we change the wrong address by the right one before the process is started?
Thanks.

i am moving to a different county and i have the full sky+ t.v. package but because i will have to resign my position at work and until i find something i need to know how much a month it will cost in my new property to have the telephone, broadband, sky+ t.v and just the sky sports package as seen on an advert for broadband, telephone, sky+ t.v for only £20.00 per month + line rental as when i first upgraded to sky+ i had to take out multiroom is this still the case as doesn't mention anything on the advertisement.
