We have launched some exciting new features to the Android version of the Sky+ app that gives Android customers an enhanced in home TV experience.
What's New?
Use the Sky+ app as a remote control
• Pause Live TV
• Rewind something that you missed
• Press play on a show you want to watch
• Change channel
View your Planner on the Sky+ app
• View your recordings
• Delete any programmes you no longer want
• View your Series Links
• Press play on a programme and it will start to play on your TV
All of these great features are available at the touch of a button from your touchscreen device and without interrupting what you’re watching on TV
Getting Started
To get started and enjoy the wonder of the Sky+ app here's what you'll need :
- Any Android device running OS 2.2 or above. Users on OS 2.1 and below will not recieve the update with new features but will be able to continue using the app.
- You must have a compatible Sky+ HD box (with the new Sky Guide) and an Android device connected to the same broadband (wired or wireless) network.
Then just head over to the google play store and download the app, you should then see the screens below when the app is started.
Once all of your items have been synced you are ready to go!
