Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

Well I have been waiting for my vouchers since March 2011. I thought they told me I would have them within 90 days, but reading this thread it may have been 45 and I have just been extra patient?!?! Anyway, after 90 days I started chasing as the vouchers hadn't arrived and an advisor filled out a form to try and find out what had happened to my vouchers.  I called again last Friday bcause I had heard nothing and was told by Craig that they had been re-ordered on 12/7 and would be with me in 4 to 5 working days. I clarified that by saying, so you mean next Tuesday or Wednseday, which Craig confirmed. I got home tonight to find that they had not arrived, phoned the helpline again and was told its not 4-5 days like i was told, but 45 days!  Unbelievable!! My second complaint email has now gone off, this time I found the specific 'Wot no vouchers' heading to use.  Here's hoping for a response of some sort - but I'm not holding my breath!!

Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

I have had the same problem, introduced a friend months ago and still no vouchers. I sent an email to the voucher contact form and had a reply from Charlotte yesterday asking for further info, which I have sent back TWICE and still nothing. I would really appreciate it if one of you lovely online Sky Advisors (like Laura, Robert or Malcolm) would take ownership of this because it seems to me from the forum posts that you guys actually get things done for customers. Many Thanks, Louise

Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

Hi Laura, Robert or Malcolm,

I too have endured the same problem as others and have not yet received the £50 vouchers from Sky for signing up online to a Sky+ HD package despite waiting more than 45 days.

I have already tried calling Sky who tried telling me I had signed up over the phone, despite me being able to prove I had signed up online with an online order reference number and screenshot.

I have also completed the contact Sky Contact Us form with the subject "I have not received my vouchers".

Please let me know if you need my online order reference number and customer account number.

I hope you guys can resolve this issue.

Kind regards,

dh14162

Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

I purchased sky hd on the 30th May 2011 from Comet; the incentive was that I would get £50 cash back (not a credit to my account) I duly claimed my £50 cash back which should have been received by me on the 15th June 2011 I made a note in my diary about it. It is now the 30th July and I still have not received my cheque!! I have rung sky twice about this, the last time was on the 18th July who had me holding on forever!! He then said that he had spoken to the 'DIVA' team who is a dedicated team who deal with the incentives and assured me that my cheque would be in the post within the next few days but as I have stated earlier I have still not received it.  I feel that comet are selling this offer in good faith and are being let down by sky not fulfilling their obligations and trying to get out of giving people what they are entitled too.  I am very disgruntled by the lack of professionalism and service shown to me by sky, also the call centre staff do not seem to be trained in this product and services and do not know what they are talking about, they ask you to hold on for 1 second and half an hour later you are still left holding on.  I am going to contact comet to inform them they are at risk of losing their reputation by selling this product.

Please look into my £50 cash back as I have completed the online form and tried to do it again but have received a message to say that I have already done it so that is proof that you have received my form. I look forward to receiving my cheque in the post within the next few days as I feel by waiting 45+ days for something you pledge to do in 30 is poor service in the extreme.

[ Edited ]

Hi Logan25,

Sorry to hear about the on going issues. The department that can deal with your query are reachable by filling out he e-form. Because you have already done this, we wouldn't be able to advise on much more whilst trying to retrieve this offer.

Once this department have looked into the e-form they will contact you with more details.

Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

Hi julia+dunlop,

The introduce a fried offer should also apply to the party who has introduced you to Sky. They will normally receive the vouchers within 45 days of your service being active.

Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

the truth of the matter is that sky have severely overstretched themselves with this offer and now cant honour it, tough, they are going to have to,i recommended a friend in january, i have e mailed on numerous occasions and been given conflicting advice, first i am entitled to the vouchers, then i am not as i did not fill their criteria, i fulfilled all their criteria, its just a fob off, i will not let this drop and will contact watchdog and the trading standards department, please join me and do the same, Also join the facebook group which is growing in numbers to stop this rip off.

Re: Voucher and Incentive Enquiries

Hi barbs+6490, the majority of customers taking up an offer receive vouchers without any issue. Sometimes things can go wrong such as the wrong offer code being used or systems not working correctly. In these cases we have a dedicated route for customers to raise a query at www.sky.com/vouchers
