How do I access Viera internet on my Panasonic television? The broadband is connected but no access?

I have bought a new Panasonic television which has internet access via something called Viera. i have connected my router via wire and checked the connection on the tv which is good. But the televsion will not display any internet. Does anyone know why this would be? all the settings are correct.

Hi

 

I take it you've checked in the network tab on your TV menu and that all looks ok - has an IP address assigned etc?

 

What happens (if anything) when you press the "internet" button on the remote? Do you get any messages displayed or does it just do nothing at all?
