Hi, i have set up my anytime+ and when i want to view a programme i have to wait for the download to complete before i can view it where as friends of mine can viw when 1% is downloaded any one know why this is ?

It depends on what the program is, for some you can start watching them more or less straight away but for others you have to wait a while longer:

thank you for you reply, but even when i choose progammes that ive viewed on friends boxes that you can view after 1% has downloaded i still have to wait till the download is complete until it says available which is very frustrating does it depend on what modem you have because ive ha mine for 9 months whereas my friends is only a couple of weeks old

Hi EDDIE101,
The reason you are being asked to wait until the programme has finished downloading is to do with the speed of your connection.
If the box detects that your connection is below 2Mbps and is not fast enough, allowing access to the programme would cause issues as you'd potentially reach the end of the buffer while the programme is still downloading. This would interrupt your viewing.
