New features coming to Sky+


We regularly update Sky+ to bring lots of improvements to existing features in your Sky Guide, to make your experience with Sky even better.


What’s new?


We’ve added some great new features this time around, including...



My Sky


By pressing the yellow button from live TV, you'll be able use My Sky to manage your Sky account, reset your PIN, get technical assistance and much more – all without interrupting your TV viewing.

For You


We’ll soon be introducing personalised recommendations in Sky Cinema and Sky Store so it’s even easier to find great shows to watch from the 1,000’s of titles we offer.




You’ll find up to 20 personalised recommendations in a new ‘For You’ tab in both Sky Cinema and Sky Store based upon your household’s on demand downloads and viewing.


Recording Improvements


It's now even easier to resolve recording clashes. You can now reschedule any of your clashing shows to another time if available.



Plus if you set a future recording that clashes, you can download it from on demand too (where available). If you reschedule any recordings, you’ll get a simple on-screen notification confirming the changes you’ve made.


We’ll also now automatically set a recording for shows you watch from Catch Up. If you download and then play back the latest episode of a Catch Up show, a series link will be automatically set for any future episodes that are broadcast.




How do I get the latest update?


We’ll be updating all compatible Sky+HD boxes over the next few weeks, so you might see these new features on your TV before or after your friends.


Check your model number in this table to see if your box is compatible for this update.
