Program your SkyHD remote to control a sound system

This guide shows how to program the Sky remote to control audio-visual equipment, such as home cinema surround sound systems, using remote codes.

For home cinema surround systems 

Step 1:  locate your code from the table at the bottom of the page. Manufacturers are in alphabetical order. You can use the Ctrl-F search function on your browser to find your code quicker.

Step 2: Hold down select and 0 on your remote until the LED flashes twice.

Step 3: Enter your four digit code. The LED should then flash twice.

Step 4: Press the left arrow button. If you device goes into standby then the correct code has been selected.

*Please note, Sky does not currently support sound bars but the manufacturer codes below may work.

When listening to sound through an amplifier and not the TV

Step 1:  locate your code from the table at the bottom of this page. Manufacturers are in alphabetical order. You can use the Ctrl-F search function on your browser to find your code quicker.

Step 2: Press TV then hold down select and 1 together until the LED flashes.

Step 3: If the LED flashes twice, it will control the sound of your amplifier when volume up, down or mute are pressed and your TV sound if arrow up, down or right are pressed. 

Step 4: If the LED only flashes once, or remains on steady, retry the procedure. If your remote still does not flash twice the remote does not support this feature. 

To reverse any of these settings

Press the TV button then hold down select and 2 together until the LED flashes twice.
