Steps to change your Sky wireless channel

First things first - make sure you're connected to your Sky Broadband network and connect to your router settings page:

  1. Open your browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar
  2. When prompted, enter:
    • username: admin
    • password: sky or your WiFi password (case sensitive)
  3. Now you're logged in. Select 'Setup' or 'Wireless Settings'
  4. Click the 'Channel' drop-down and select a number ('auto' is default)
  5. Click 'Apply' to change the wireless channel

Still can't access your Sky router settings? Watch the video Change or reset your Sky WiFi password.

Note: If you have a Sky Q Hub it will constantly look for the best wireless channel automatically.

Can you get them to put more than 2 lan ports on a modern piece of equipment and can you also get them to stop them both from failing to get a dhcp ip address? Thanks

Totally agree with above request
