Hello there. I am currently on the Unlimited Sky Broadband package and have recently experienced a loss of speed from around 16-18mb to 3-5mb during peak times. I have been told as a Unlimited customer, I shouldn't be experiencing great losses of speed such as this, unless of course I am a Connect customer which I am not.
My router stats:

Also this doesn't quite add up...

Same here on the Bangor exchange . Speed fine until about 7 pm then it drops from 15.-16mb to between 3-5 mb until about 10.30pm. Have had this problem twice before usually around this time of the year and has always been because of congestion. Fair play to Sky though they always admitted when there was a problem and upgraded the system to cope with the extra traffic.

Speed seems to be going up and down tonight like a roller coaster.

Recieved a reply from Sky (via email) informing me that my line is okay, so this makes me believe that this is another exchange issue with overloading too many customers on it.

Update: Well after sending messages back and forth to the the Sky team (which I assume were from different people each time, due to being asked the same questions), I eventually got a break through and have been told that it'll be raised to the escalation team and that it does sound like a possible congestion issue with my exchange.
Should have a reply in 5 days and if not maybe a few extra due to the issue being with the exchange.

Acceptable speeds at the moment but come peak time I will post another test later on.

The usual speeds I get around this time...
