Re: old white router showing there is 2 of them?

Hi yes , I have done the reset and unpluging and waiting then pluging back in...

Yes they both say locked its says one out of range and the other one which looks like the real one sometimes won't accept the network key ?

Is my router on its last legs as we had it a number of years ?

Thanks Wayne

Hi jiffy693,

Thanks for the reply.

Can you tell us if you're using another router as a bridge?

Thanks,

Re: old white router showing there is 2 of them?

Hi jiffy693,

Thanks for replying.

If possible could you enter 192.168.0.1 in to an address bar>Username is admin>Password is sky>Click on SETUP.

Once you've done this can you change the name of the SSID and save it please, once you have done this can you search for the router again and tell us if the new name shows twice.

Thanks,

Graeme

Good evening jiffy693,

Yes let's hope it stays that way!

If you decided to change the SSID then it should pick this up through your devices, however you may have to remove it and then add it again.

Hope this helps.

Hi jiffy693,

I can imagine it would be quite frustrating having to connect all your devices again.

If you have any other queries in future then please do not hesitate to come back to us.

Thanks,
Andy
