why does my sky box not receive a signal when it is raining.

When ever it rains, which is most days! my sky box informs me that its not receiving  a signal

i reboot it and this goes on and on for most of the day!!  its really getting me down

what can you do about it, can you boost the signal?  Its well beyond a joke.

Carol

You should only lose the signal when it rains very heavily (thunderstorm for example) or snows. If you're losing the signal in light to moderate rain, it's likely that your satellite dish needs re-aligning.
