Many thanks for that.

I've been to Orange, Sky (completely useless) who told me to contact Windows Live mail. As if!

Your instructions were clear and worked well, and should be part of the basic Sky information.

Sky you should be ashamed.

I tore out what little hair I still have trying to follow the instructions in your second link, the first link has never shown up on any of my searches.  I stand by my comment that this whole process has been more complicated and confusing than it needed to be.

My other question would be, why on earth is this information not part of the main help on how to set up for Windows Live Mail, rather than the entirely useless information in your help pages or from customer support, who do not have the technical ability to tackle such a question. Robboj's response was incredibly clear to follow and worked first time. This should be part of the main help pages.
