Ive got the same problem!! You need to conect the wifi booster to your router, then open your browser and put the IP address of your router - then go into maintinance - then into attached devices. You need to work out which one is your wifi booster then put that IP address in your browser and you should come to the wireless booster screen.(which apparently is the screen you would come to if the link worked)
To find the IP address, go to control panel - network & internet - view network computer & devices. You should see under network infrastructure an ADSL Route - right click on that, go into properties then network device and you will see the IP address at the bottom.

The page you are looking for http://skywirelessbooster.local is not on the net the page is in your wireless booster
connect your booster to your lap top or computer then plug in mains you will find that you will have no net .
type http://skywirelessbooster.local in your browser bar the page should be there if not on the back of your booster reset with small pin push in and hold untill power and net lights start to flash then stop wait for power button to turn white
then type in address again and you will find this will work
find the name of your wireless network click on and then put your password and click connect

I've just followed the push a pin in the reset option and it worked straight away. Thank you!

Like lots of other people I tried everything, after I realsied that http://skywirelessbooster.local was going nowhere. The advice on inputting the the booster IP address was great, assuming everyone knows how to find this (easier to go into Control Panel / Network & Internet / Wireless Network Connection / Details). This got me in but the booster page would not load. My last attempt was to change browser to Chrome. This worked for me. Good luck!
