Good Evening kevin+kinvig,

Here's a step-by-step on how to change your network password. It is recommended you do this through a wired connection.

1. Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1

2. Once prompted login with username admin and password sky

3. Go to setup/wireless settings (depending on router type)

4. Change encryption type if desired

5. Type new password into network key box

6. Click apply at the bottom of the page.

This will change it straight away. All devices currently connected will have to be updated as these will stop working through your wireless network as soon as the password is changed.

I hope this information has helped answer your query however if you do have any other queries then you can post them on the appropriate board on our Help Forum.

Regards,

Hi Binder+jeet, To change the wireless security settings...

Hi Binder+jeet,

To change the wireless security settings on your Sky Broadband Router, please follow the steps below.

Using a PC connected to the router through Ethernet, visit http://192.168.0.1
When prompted log in with the username: admin and password: sky (in lower case)
Select the Setup tab from the navigation bar at the top of the page to jump to Wireless Settings
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see the current Network Key.
Change the network key and note this down as it's case-sensitive then click Apply.

Please note that when you change the network key, all wireless devices will be immediately disconnected and you will need to reconnect each device again entering the new network key.

I hope this information helps.
