Unable to connect Wii

I've been trying to get my Wii connected to my router and keep getting and Error Code 51330 (I have no problems connecting my laptop wirelessly).

I've tried the following:

  • let the Wii discover the available SSIDs, selected to the correct one and entered the case sensitive passsword
  • checked the settings that the Wii has come up with and all seems to be ok (WPA-PSK(TKIP), Auto-Obtain IP Address, Auto-Obtain DNS, Don't Use Proxy Server, MTU=0)
  • On checking the router set up it can see the Wii has been picked up and I've added the Wii's MAC Address to the trusted listed
  • setting the MTU value to 1500 (as set on the router)

From what I can see from the router documentation it's a DG934G1 and the firmware version is V2.02.44.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Re: Unable to connect Wii

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm going to help, but I had the same error and realised that the password was put in in small letters. You've mentioned the password being case sensitive , but when I typed it in again it worked. Good luck!
