I live in Scotland and contrary to popular belief, I do not wait around all day for Dolly the sheep to be ready for me... I have SKY! Woot I pay a lot of money for my sky, I have Sky Movies, Sky sports, Sky HD and pay £62.25 per month for this privialge. Now as far as I can tell, please do correct me If I am wrong.... I would pay the same for this in England?
So why exactly do English and Welsh customers get ITV / STV +1. I dont even care if it doesnt show the same things If i want to watch something only shown on ITV I go all the way up past the porn too 900 and something to watch ITV because I pay for that privialge... Do I get any ITV +1 no. Do I instead get STV +1? No... any thing like it? Well urm... you guessed it NO.
Please explain to me why we get less channels and still pay the same price and whilest you are at it please explain to my children why they missed the first hour of Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium because they are SCOTTISH and NOT ENGLISH?
Thanks very much.

You can add itv+1 to other channels if you like.
Go to services,add channels.then input.
Enter add channel and press yellow button to store.
Also remember it won't be in the tv guide you will find it in other channels.

STV have not yet decided to have their STV HD and STV+1 services on the EPG, and that is a matter for them, not Sky. They have been asked by members of other forums about this, and the stock answer from STV is they have not made any firm plans.
In the meantime, Manually Add:
STV HD 10.936 V 22.0 5/6 - showing as Label 3855
STV(West)+1 10.906 V 22.0 5/6 - showing as Label 10225
These channels will be in Added Channels. They are not recordable, and the 'Now-And-Next' info is limited.

Thank you for the info Kenneth and yes that is a matter for STV and not Sky but why English and Welsh customers have ITV +1 normally on their sky and until I manually added it and cant find it like a normal channell IS a matter for Sky. They give me the ITV channel on the regianl TV section so I do not see why this shouldnt be included in that section at least. Just becuase I live in Scotland does not mean I wont ever miss the start of a programme if there is an alternative available to watch it later I expect it to be added into my normal channels just as they would add it to an English customers TV package.

I have been seeing adverts for STV+1 stating it is available in our area (STV) on channel 131 for near 1 year but still its not available, Why are they, stv saying they have not decided when they are clearly advertising it is on the epg as stated above on channel 131
While i have these channels in my other channels it is a bit annoying

Welcome to the Sky Forum
At the moment the channel is still not currently available to view and there is no exact timescale as to when it will be available. You can manually add the channels which I'm assuming you have already done, however if you haven't we cannot offer advice on this. A member of the community will be able to offer more assistance on that.
We look forward to hearing from you again.

Moam - what is the purpose of your recent post? Are you answering an earlier question or just making a point? Sky is not any less expensive where I live
