How to open ports

having problems with my xbox and downloading off the marketplace contacted xbox and they told me i have to make sure the following ports are open Port 88 (UDP), Port 3074 (UDP and TCP), Port 53 (UDP and TCP), Port 80 (TCP)

but not got a clue how to do this can any1 help with a guide i tried to look at the portforward website but dont no the make and model of my router that sky gave me

Thank god for youtube found 2 videos that show you the 2 things required when portforwarding

 

1. how to set up the static ip address on your xbox = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMcddyHoHZg

 

2. how to portforward on your sky router = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsVmNpyfqVk&feature=fvst
