Eco mode problems

Just received new wi fi 2tb sky box. Always used Eco mode on old box and had no problems. Now when I have planner set up to record at 7am the recording fails and when I switch on sky planner, on demand etc does not load. It either says box initialising and nothing happen sir says sky HD has failed contact sky.

Is it the Eco mode that is making the problem?

I doubt that ECO mode is the cause. Are you able to get your box past the initialising screen and working properly? Does it then record ok? Have you tried disabling the wifi function temporarily to see if the box then wakes up ok to record at 7 am?

I'll try disabling the wifi tonight. Once I unplug and switch back on it all reappears. This morning the program I have set up to record at 7am started to record once I had unplugged and restarted it. At the weekend when my program doesn't record we gad no problem with anything, all on demand programs were there as was everything in the planner, the error seems to only happen when a program is due to be recorded.

It might be-I have problems in eco mode-after updates the box will not start-up without unplugging and resetting itself. I have switched back to standby mode and for the last 2 months have had no further problems.
