British Summer Time (BST) clock change

British Summer Time (BST) clock change

On Sunday 27th March the start of British Summertime will commence, with the clocks going forward one hour at 00:59:59 GMT to 02:00:00 BST.

You may notice that the start times for series link entries in your EPG are out by 1 hour.

We would like to advise that this is due to the clock change, however the series link will record at the correct time and the following series link will display the correct recording start time.

Except any manual recordings which normally have to be deleted and recreated. :smileysad:

Can't beleive this bug hasn't been fixed yet. :smileymad:

Update to Sky+ App on iPhone & iPad - Released 25th March

We have identified a bug in the existing Sky+ application for the iPhone and iPad.

When the clocks go forward on Sunday the application will fail to recognise the time change. To fix this download the latest update from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

The guide will function normally from Monday. Any recordings you make on Sunday will work correctly.

What's new for the Sky+ app?

  • New channel order in line with your box.
  • Time zone bug fix
  • Minor bug fixes
Many thanks for your support and feedback. As a result we will be introducing a host of new features over the coming months:
  • Access and manage the Planner on your device.
  • Series Link your favourite shows wherever you are.
  • "Take control" by turning your iPhone and iPad into a remote control.
  • Never Miss notifications, which let you know when your favourite show/movie or match is about to air.
  • Integrated promo videos and clips helping you discover new must-see shows.
  • Improved navigation for iPhone users

My manual recordings are fine, which is just as well because I forgot to check them this morning. The time is correct and one is recording at the moment right on cue. Make a change not having to redo them like I've had to in the past.

Re: British Summer Time (BST) clock change

The TV guide is out by an hour - how do I get it to recognise BST?

See if rebooting your box will fix it.
