Blue screen -HD box yellow light - not responding

Arrived back home ,turned on tv blue screen.  Found HD box has yellow light, turned it off at mains waited 5 mins turned back on red light briefly then yellow again _still no picture. Any suggestions?

Hi Ellee,

 

Thank you for your question.

 

As your box is stuck on standby & you've tried switching it off/on & the mains the next step will be to force the box to come back on by formatting the hard drive.  To Do a Front Pannel Full System Reset. 

 

  • Switch the box off at the mains.
  • Hold & press the left & right arrow keys on the top of the box.
  • Without letting the arrow keys go, put the power back on.
  • Keep holding the arrow keys down until the play circle lights up, release the arrow keys & press the select button twice on the box.
  • When format is complete box will be on standby, leave for 2.5 minutes & then return the box to the green light.
