Several friends have Sky broadband and find their low IP numbers are being blocked by www.wetcanvas.com.
Is there a way of getting a higher IP number? Several reboots of the router have not made any difference.

For problems accessing certain websites, can you confirm if your friends have IP addresses assigned beginning with 2.X.X.X?
If this is the case then a request may need to be raised with the site to update it's firewall to allow connections from the new IP address range.

es they have IP numbers atarting 2.xxx.xxx.xxx. I contacted the website providers who insist they are not blocking 2.xxx IP addresses:

Your friends could try (if they haven't already) rebooting their routers until their addresses start with a 9 and then they should be able to access the site.

I can load the site, it says "Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here".
Clearly the WetCanvas website has put some kind of block on 2.x.x.x IP addresses, and it's only them that can fix it.
